WVGWRRA Leadership

My name is Carol Bauer. I am a relative “newbie” to GWRRA but really love the feeling of family and enjoying riding a motorcycle after 30 years. I joined GWRRA in 2009 after I lost my husband of 36 years. I work with Buz and had helped him with the Rally Book for a couple of years. We were working on the book and I asked him if it help him if I came to the rally to work. He said okay and the rest has been a whirlwind of activity for me! And I love it!!

I have taken all of the seminars I could in the Leadership Training Program at the various rallies I have attended. I think I need one to have completed all of the available seminars and have taken a few that are no longer available.  I have also taken about 8-10 Rider Education courses including the TRC class. I am a Certified Bike Show Judge. I have taught Co-Rider 2 and several LTP seminars. I have taken the Medic First Aid three times….maybe I will get it right. No seriously,  it is a course which I want to stay current.

I love to teach courses and really enjoy participating in the seminars at the rallies and at chapter meetings. I guess I come by it honestly .I have been a middle school and high school teacher and counselor for 35+ years. I am active in an Honorary Teacher Sorority and my church. I have four stepchildren and three great grandkids. I love to ride my trike, go camping, and read.

I am happy to fill the position of WV District LTP (Leadership Training Program) and have high hopes for the program. I am trying to visit all of the WV Chapters and offering seminars from the LTP sections.
